Book review – Harris finds his feet by Catherine Rayner

HarrisThe Kate Greenaway Prize

The CILIP Kate Greenaway Prize is awarded to the most outstanding illustrated book for children of the year. We’ll be blogging some of the shortlist until the winner is announced at BAFTA on 25 June.

Our guest reviewer this week is Roxanne from Plympton Library.

Harris finds his feet

. . . . .and, my goodness, what big feet they are! Catherine Rayner’s delightful tale of a young hare discovering the purpose of his very large feet, whilst going on a voyage of discovery with his Grandad, is of a gentle coming of age. Lovely nature-coloured illustrations and a simple story line make this book perfect for bed-time or any-time.

It’s ok to go out and explore . . . . . and there’s always home to run back to!

Find a copy of Harris finds his feet in your library.
