Book review – Addis Berner Bear Forgets by Joel Stewart

Addis Berner Bear Forgets is the latest book for smaller persons from up and coming author/illustrator Joel Stewart.

Joel is one of the Big Picture campaign’s Top Ten new illustrators who represent ‘the best rising talent in the field of illustration today’

A poignant, heart warming tale and Stewart’s old fashioned style puts me in mind of the Tim books by Edward Ardizzone (ask your granny!). Addis Berner is a big brown bear who arrives in the city and gets so lost and confused he’s forgotten what he came for until a kind lady helps him out.

I never have this problem in Plymouth – I always remember to blow my own trumpet!
